Residential development containing five single-family homes is the first officially certified passivehaus standard project in Latvia. Private residences are engineered and built to reduce energy consupmtion by approximately two thirds, as compared to hauses constructed using conventional construction technique. The aesthetic of buildings is contemporary, yet makes a number of references to local vernacular tradition.
